9月2日，2026中巴文化年重磅落地活动——首届巴西文化节正式登陆北京798艺术区。作为巴西首次在中国完整举办的国家级综合性文化盛会，活动由巴西文化部、巴西国家旅游局（Embratur）联合伊泰普水电站共同举办，以生态、艺术、文旅、学术多维融合的形式，开启中巴两国文明互鉴、民心相通的全新篇章。

2026年经中巴两国元首共识确定为中巴文化年，是两国巩固全面战略伙伴关系、深化多元合作的重要人文布局，旨在以文化为纽带，拉近两国民众距离，夯实中巴命运共同体建设的民心根基。此次落地北京的首届巴西文化节，是迄今为止中巴文化年框架下，规格最高、内容最丰富、形式最多元的巴西国家级交流活动，突破传统单一展演模式，实现生态科普、艺术展示、现场演艺、学术研讨、文旅推广全方位融合。

巴西节在中国开展的活动还包括一场面向旅游运营商的研讨会。代表们将推荐巴西旅游各目的地和“巴西旅游专家”平台，并介绍支持开发针对中国市场定制行程的工具。该举措旨在让旅游销售商更深入地了解巴西旅游体验，这些体验也将在整个节庆期间进行展示。

本次文化节以巴西标志性自然奇观为核心叙事脉络，打造沉浸式主题展览《空中河流》。展览串联亚马孙雨林、塞拉多稀树草原、卡廷加生态区、大西洋森林、潘塔纳尔湿地、潘帕斯草原六大原生生物群系，依托顶尖纪实摄影作品、本土手工艺“生物群系之家”刺绣装置、伊瓜苏瀑布沉浸式展厅，搭配实物展陈与互动体验，生动揭秘巴西独特的跨区域水汽生态循环体系，立体展现巴西丰富的生物多样性，以及当地人与自然共生的生态人文智慧。

除主题展览外，本次文化节同步推出多维度的艺术演艺与学术交流矩阵。为期五天的活动中，多位巴西知名艺术家轮番登台，演绎波萨诺瓦、桑巴、巴西流行音乐、肖罗、爵士等多元曲风，解锁巴西从传统到当代的完整音乐脉络。非遗表演卡波耶拉（巴西战舞）、马库莱莱（棍舞）融舞蹈、武术、音乐、杂技于一体，以无国界的艺术语言，展现巴西民俗文化的原生生命力。同时，系列学术论坛、文旅工作坊同步开展，围绕生态保护、可持续发展、艺术创新、中巴文旅合作等议题深度研讨，搭建两国行业资源对接、学术思想互通的专业平台。

在798艺术区这一充满艺术气息的场域中，本次活动实现了真正意义上的双向文化对话。丰富动人的展演内容让巴西的自然风貌、人文底蕴走出屏幕与书本，以可看、可听、可触的沉浸式体验走进大众视野。中国观众全方位感知巴西的生态之美与人文之韵，巴西艺术家与行业从业者也实地感受当代中国的文化活力与开放包容。

2026 Festival Brasil Grandly Opens at the 798 Art District, Telling the Story of Brazil’s Ecological Beauty Through Art

On September 2, a flagship event of the 2026 China-Brazil Cultural Year — the inaugural Festival Brasil — officially opened at Beijing's 798 Art District. As the first national-level, comprehensive cultural event Brazil has ever held in full scale in China, the Festival is jointly presented by Brazil's Ministry of Culture, Embratur (Brazilian Tourist Board), and Itaipu Binacional. Through a multidimensional fusion of ecology, art, culture and tourism, and academia, it opens a brand-new chapter of mutual learning and people-to-people connectivity between the two civilizations.

At the opening ceremony, distinguished guests — including Marcos Galvão, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to China; Cecília Sá, Deputy Secretary of Cultural Spaces and Equipment at the Ministry of Culture of Brazil; Simone Scorsato, International Events Manager at EMBRATUR and Curator of the Brazil Flying Rivers Exhibition; and Aline Teigão de Albuquerque, Manager of Tourism Initiatives at Itaipu Binacional — General of Brazil in Shanghai — attended and delivered remarks. Industry experts, artists, media representatives, and members of the public joined the opening festivities to witness this significant moment of China-Brazil cultural exchange. The guests noted that the Festival Brasil is a core initiative of the 2026 China-Brazil Cultural Year, building a highly valuable people-to-people platform for deepening humanities exchange and cultural-tourism cooperation between the two countries..

The year 2026 was designated the China-Brazil Cultural Year by consensus of the two heads of state - a major people-oriented arrangement to consolidate the comprehensive strategic partnership and deepen multifaceted cooperation, using culture as a bond to bring the two peoples closer and strengthen the popular foundation of the China-Brazil community with a shared future. The inaugural Brazil Cultural Festival, now landed in Beijing, is to date the highest-profile, richest, and most diverse national-level Brazilian exchange event under the Cultural Year framework. Breaking away from the traditional single-format exhibition model, it achieves an all-around integration of ecological education, artistic display, live performance, academic symposiums, and cultural-tourism promotion.

Brazil’s programme in China will also include a workshop for tourism operators. Representatives of Itaipu Binacional, Visit Iguassu and Visit Brasil will present Foz do Iguaçu, the Itaipu Tourist Complex and the Brazil Travel Specialist platform, as well as tools to support the development of itineraries tailored to the Chinese market. The initiative aims to bring travel sellers closer to the Brazilian experiences also showcased throughout the Festival.

Centered on Brazil's iconic natural wonder — the "flying rivers" — as its core narrative thread, the Festival presents the immersive themed exhibition “Brazil Flying Rivers”. The exhibition strings together six major native biomes the Amazon rainforest, the Cerrado savanna, the Caatinga, the Atlantic Forest, the Pantanal wetlands, and the Pampas grasslands — through top-tier documentary photography, "Casa Biomas" embroidery installations of indigenous handicraft, and an immersive Iguazu Falls exhibition hall, complemented by physical displays and interactive experiences. It vividly unveils Brazil's unique cross-regional water-vapor ecological cycle, presents its rich biodiversity in three dimensions, and showcases the ecological wisdom of local communities living in harmony with nature.

Beyond the themed exhibition, the Festival also builds an multi-dimensional matrix of artistic performances and academic exchange. Over five days, renowned Brazilian artists will take the stage in turn, performing bossa nova, samba, Brazilian popular music, choro, jazz, and other genres, unlocking the full musical spectrum of Brazil from tradition to contemporary times. Intangible-cultural-heritage performances of capoeira (Brazilian martial dance) and maculelê (stick dance) — blending dance, martial arts, music, and acrobatics - display the primal vitality of Brazilian folk culture in an art form that knows no borders. Meanwhile, a series of academic forums and cultural-tourism workshops will be held in parallel, featuring in-depth discussions on ecological conservation, sustainable development, artistic innovation, and China-Brazil cultural-tourism cooperation, creating a professional platform for industry resource matching and academic exchange between the two countries.

Set in the artistically charged venue of the 798 Art District, the event has achieved a genuine two-way cultural dialogue. Its rich and moving performances and exhibitions bring Brazil's natural landscapes and cultural depth beyond screens and books, into public view through immersive experiences that can be seen, heard, and touched. Chinese audiences gain an all-around sense of Brazil's ecological beauty and cultural charm, while Brazilian artists and industry professionals experience first-hand the cultural vitality, openness, and inclusiveness of contemporary China.
